It’s time to “kick up” the “stingy!”
Especially when it comes to sharing your online banking information.
By “stingy,” we mean:
Never send your account information in an email or text (even to a friend or your bank).
Never enter your account information into an online form that is not secure (has the lock and https).
If you need to share your account information with a family member or close friend, your best bet is to either deliver the information in person or via the phone — just be sure to have the conversation in a private place.
