It’s time to “kick up” the “stingy!”

Especially when it comes to sharing your online banking information.

By “stingy,” we mean:

    • Never send your account information in an email or text (even to a friend or your bank).

    • Never enter your account information into an online form that is not secure (has the lock and https).

Banking
    • Never share your account information for an unsolicited transaction (could be a scam).

If you need to share your account information with a family member or close friend, your best bet is to either deliver the information in person or via the phone — just be sure to have the conversation in a private place.
